The story begins at a small job-work mill at Elappully that our mother has run since 1987. Growing up beside it, Sheena learned what honest milling means. In December 2018 she founded KK Foods, a separate venture of her own, carrying that standard into a brand for every Kerala kitchen. Nothing artificial goes in, and everything is milled in small batches.

Our mother started a job-work mill in Palakkad under our father’s guidance, serving neighbors with sincerity. That mill still runs today.
2018
Not a takeover, a new venture. Inspired by the mill she grew up beside, Sheena founded KK Foods in December 2018 as a separate women-led brand for pure pantry staples.

We mill, roast and pack in small batches every week. The packed-on date is printed on every pack, so freshness is yours to check.

a note from our founder
I grew up beside our mother’s job-work mill in Elappully. There I saw what honest milling looks like: grains roasted slowly, nothing rushed, nothing added. In December 2018 I founded KK Foods. It is my own venture, separate from Amma’s mill. It does not run her operation, it carries her values. The rule is the same one she has kept for nearly four decades. If a batch is not good enough for my kitchen, it does not leave ours.
Today, every pack that carries our name has that promise behind it. That is the whole business plan.
